Privacy Policy for IslamWiseIslamWise ("we", "our", or "us") operates the IslamWise mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.1. INFORMATION WE COLLECTDevice Identifier
When you first open IslamWise, a unique device identifier is generated and stored locally on your device. This identifier is used to manage your subscription and track usage limits. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information.Conversation Data
Your conversations are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not store your conversation history on our servers. When you delete the app or clear your data, your conversations are permanently removed.Usage Data
We track the number of tokens (a measure of text length) used per week to enforce usage limits. This data is associated with your device identifier and stored on our servers.Subscription Data
If you subscribe to IslamWise Premium, your subscription is managed by RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. RevenueCat processes your subscription status and associates it with your device identifier. Payment is

1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICESIslamWise uses the following third-party services:- Apple (App Store, StoreKit): Processes payments and manages subscriptions
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status and entitlements
- xAI: Processes your questions to generate responses based on Islamic scholarshipThese services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.1. DATA SHARINGWe do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your questions are sent to our backend server for processing and are not stored permanently on our servers.1. DATA SECURITYWe take reasonable measures to protect your information. Conversations are stored locally on your device. Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.1. DATA RETENTION
- Conversation history: Stored on your device only. Deleted when you remove the app or clear data from Settings.
- Usage data: Retained on our servers and reset weekly.
- Subscription data: Managed by RevenueCat and Apple for the duration of your subscription.
1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACYIslamWise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will delete it.1. YOUR RIGHTSYou can:- Delete all conversation data from within the app Settings
- Cancel your subscription through Apple App Store settings
- Contact us to request the deletion of your usage data
